Signal：安全、開源的聊天應用

Signal 是一款關注隱私的開源應用。像愛德華·斯諾登這樣的隱私權倡導者建議使用它。

它可能沒有 Telegram 或 WhatsApp 這麼多的功能。但是，如果你想在交流時增強隱私，這是一個可靠的開源方案。

你可以在智能手機（iOS/Android）上安裝，也可以在 Linux、Windows 和 macOS 上安裝。

Signal 的功能

注意： 某些功能是智能手機特有的。你可能無法在桌面應用上看到所有功能。

另請注意，目前，Signal 需要電話號碼才能註冊。如果你不想公開自己的私人電話號碼，則可以使用 Google 語音或類似服務。

Signal Features

消失的消息

有一個巧妙的功能可以阻止應用內截圖，它就是「屏幕安全」。

如果你開啟它，那麼你將無法為應用中的任何對話截圖。你可以從應用設置中找到啟用或禁用它的選項。

它可能並不是對所有人有用，但你可以嘗試一下。

安全數字

如果你想與朋友一起驗證加密的安全性，只需點擊個人資料並向下滾動找到「查看安全數字」。

你可以掃描驗證或者看一眼並標記為已驗證。

鎖定消息

如果你使用了鎖（密碼/指紋）來保護應用，那麼即使你的設備已解鎖，你也無法在通知中看到消息。

因此，當 Signal 處於鎖定狀態收到通知時，你會注意到通知的內容為 「Locked Message」，這對於注重隱私的用戶來說是一個加分項。

其它功能

如你所期待的聊天應用，你可以使用幾個標籤，並且可以根據需要創建一個組。但是，你無法管理你的組，你只能添加成員和更改群頭像。

此外，Signal 還為其應用支持生物識別。

在 Ubuntu/Linux 上安裝 Signal

不幸的是，你無法在你的 Linux 發行版上找到 .deb 或者 .AppImage。因此，你需要根據官方安裝說明在終端上安裝。

在終端中輸入以下內容：

curl -s https://updates.signal.org/desktop/apt/keys.asc | sudo apt-key add -
echo "deb [arch=amd64] https://updates.signal.org/desktop/apt xenial main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/signal-xenial.list
sudo apt update && sudo apt install signal-desktop

只需在終端中一個接一個地複製並粘貼命令。

我對 Signal 的想法

我已經使用 Signal 有幾年了，它的功能已經得到了改善。但是，我仍然認為可以改善用戶體驗。
