Linux Story 是一个社区运营的非盈利 Linux 资讯网站，成立于 2011年，以弘扬纯正开源文化，开源技术为己任，坚持社区非商业形式运作，是目前国内最大的几个非盈利开源站点之一。现任“帮主”乃华华也，主要成员包括：闻其详、张睿、刘国龙、周冰玉、李大祥、王康宇、董一炜、杜易钊、刘桎、陈毅钊、陈明毅等，还有很多背后的志愿者们。

每天带来第一手的开源资讯和新鲜温暖的科技故事。开源有意思，除了热气腾腾的开源故事，Linux 也会说说“情话”，讲讲“情怀”，分享故事，更想和你一起创造故事。我们关注的内容包括但不限于 Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, CentOS, openSUSE, Unix, FreeBSD, ezgo Linux 诸多发行版以及众多开源项目的新闻、新手指南、教程等；还包括开源教育、科技资讯、社区文档、活动通告等内容。我们矢志于介绍与推广纯粹的开源精神，一致认为对抗“邪恶”需要好人来发声，纯正的美好的开源精神之美需要被人们知道。

我们目前主要做的事情包括：
* 开源资讯翻译：主要是将最新的有关开源的新闻和好的技术文章翻译为中文。讲究快和准确。
* 原创文章撰写：由自己撰写的原创文章，题材以技术分享为主，但是也囊括新闻评论等领域。
* 开源学村：系列开源培训教材，由浅至深，引导新人进入开源领域。
* 开源夜总会：负责收集、整理和介绍一些好玩的开源有关的项目和玩意儿。

* 英文报道：将中文世界的开源信息介绍到西方去。
* 美术设计：网站logo，跟开源有关的海报设计、图片制作等。
* 网络运营：微信公众号、微博、Facebook、Twitte r的推广运营。
* 市场推广：宣传、合作等 markeing事宜。
* 原创英文技术书籍翻译：将一些优质的英文技术文档或者书籍翻译为中文，譬如 ABS 和 lfs等。
* ezgo 开源教育系统：兄弟项目，一个基于 Ubuntu 的Linux，集成教育软件和教材资源，专注教育公益。详见 https://ezgolinux.org

我们希望成为一个靠谱的开源资讯媒体或者科技媒体，成为能够满足读者细腻需求的媒体，可以依赖的“为有源头活水来”那个“源头”，在每一毫米阳光起落的时候，我们都不负你作为一个鲜活的，有情感的，有意思的，贴近生活的媒体。
